Description

The 2021 Blizzard Rustler 10 Skis with Bindings are a match made in heaven, destined to make the entire mountain your playground. With a bomber binding underfoot and Austrian ski heritage urging you to push your skiing to the next level, the Rustler 10 might just help you have your best season yet. These skis get along with many different skiing styles, from more freestyle-centric skiers, or big mountain chargers in search of powder, all the way to weekend warriors looking for an accessible ski that encourages controlled and stylish skiing. For 2021 the Rustler 10 is utilizing Blizzard’s Carbon Flipcore D.R.T. construction. D.R.T. stands for Dynamic Release Technology, a construction concept that reduces torsional rigidity in the tips and tails making the skis less demanding and more playful in soft snow. Rocker in the tips and tails allows for quick release through slashed turns and camber underfoot keeps you trenched in through carved turns on piste. Though not quite a symmetrical rocker profile, significant tail splay keeps you afloat on the deepest of days. A layer of titanal that tapers towards both the tips and tails provides a feeling of stability and rigidity underfoot while allowing the skier to finesse playful maneuvers off every side hit and cat track. In synergy with the tapered titanal, a uni-directional carbon frame and antishock layers in the tips and tails of the ski reduce swing weight for hasty turn initiation all while keeping chattery feedback to a minimum. On groomers, a compact turn radius and malleable tips make these skis extremely easy to bend into a variety of turn shapes. For the lively all-mountain skier who prefers short to medium length turns and requires the stability of a partial metal laminate, the Rustler 10 warrants a second look.
